The creative freedom to play with the text on a cover is immeasurable, and that's what I was able to do with the cover of Kayak, by author Kristal Stittle, published by Tenebrous Press.

The concept of the illustration, which tensely and symbolically shows the protagonist navigating a river that seems about to "devour" him, was conceived by the author herself. My only job was to refine this base, and from there I had the idea of ​​adding the touch of the title being dragged by the kayak's current.
